3 4G speeds require 4G coverage. When traveling in the 3G Coverage Area, you can expect download speeds of 600 Kbps–1.4 Mbps and upload speeds of 500–800 Kbps. When traveling in the Extended 3G Coverage Area, you can expect download speeds of 400–700 Kbps and upload speeds of 60–80 Kbps. Outside the Mobile Broadband Rate and Coverage Area, the network allows connections at typical speeds of 60–80 Kbps.
Data usage applies to Windows Automatic Updates and any other automatic updates. Go to the Control Panel on your netbook/notebook and/or the settings for other software to control updates manually.
