Keep an eye on usage by tracking how many minutes, texts or megabytes you and your family are using. And if it looks like you’re pushing your monthly limit, you can change your plan right there on My Verizon. Add or remove features and find out when you’re due for an upgrade on your device. Manage your Friends & Family numbers; change them as often as you like, so you’re truly maximizing your available minutes.

Block calls and messages from certain numbers so they don’t eat up your minutes or text allowances. Use Verizon Safeguards to help protect your children, with such services as Usage Controls and Parental Controls. Limit your child’s mobile phone usage, including blocking certain numbers, setting time restrictions, and setting filters so your child can download only age-appropriate things. You can even block downloading and/or purchasing of content altogether, such as Ringback Tones and Premium Messaging—a handy tool to keep your teen from running up your bill.
